When The WildWest mod was created 5 years ago, no one ever imagined it would last as long as it did, or provide as much enjoyment to as many people all over the world. But, like any other technological item, it has a shelf life. That shelf life has, for the most part, expired.

Hewster, the co-creator of WW has moved on to other projects, as has BoltyBoy. Hewster was approached with the idea of releasing the source code, but decided not to. The mod team has done as much with the mod as they feel is practical. The InSynerate forum goes for months with no posts.

The time has come to let it go. There will be no more enhancements or code changes. It is unlikely that there will be much in the way of new maps, if any.

Effective 10/03/2007, the mod team will officially disband and the forum will be shut down.

Thanks to everyone who helped make The WildWest what it is, and what it was.

It has been a lot of fun.

Just checked the scripts also - they work as they should - excellent! ^_^ Now I can do my dirty deeds with collegues at office at full speed

Anyways, did some minor changes here and there and elsewhere and now it's more or less playable (tested 1on1 lol) and kinda fun (atleast for me and my pal). If anyone need it - grab it here!
